Watercolor resist tags plus VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hello lovely blogger friends!

I have a couple of tags to share with you all. These are watercolor resist tags I made using the Prima Tales of You and Me Paintables paper pad and Chalk edgers.

 The paintables are 6x6 inch paper pads with resist and black ink pattern printed on thick watercolor cardstock.

I also have a process video of these. But first the pics. :)

"Memories"- Watercolor layout with VIDEO tutorial for 2carfty Chipboard

Hello friends!

Sharing with you all a watercolor layout I made for  2Crafty chipboard. I also made a process video of the same . you can find i at the end of the post.

I covered my chippies in white gesso and added color on the background chippie .

 I also added a lot of splatters to add interest.

The feather chippie has been covered on white gesso and I used some watercolor to color it randomly not covering the whole chipboard piece.

"A wish come true! "- Layout for 2Crafty Chipboards

Today I have this really soft girly page with lots of watercolouring to share with you all. The watercolors I used were the Prima Marketing watercolor confections- Trropicals set.

I covered all my chippie pieces in white gesso and then colored them using
chalk paints and watercolors to give some wonderful looks. 

I love the ombre look on the leafy shrub set chippies.

"Cherish" - Layout for 2Crafty chippies

Hello! Here is the next layout I made for 2Crafty chippies.. I used their gorgeous squiggly hearts, cherish loopy font and tiny feathers for this one. Once again...I used  the Prima watercolor products here.   This time its the watercolor pencils and oil pastels for the background.

The title and squiggly hearts cluster is covered in white heavy gesso .

I applied white gesso to the tiny feather chippies and then stamped on them using black archival ink.
 I applied some Prima oil pastel on it and then outlined the chippie pieces.

"Beautiful" - Mixed media layout

Hello everyone!
I have a few projects to share with you on the 2Crafty chipboard blog today.  Here is my first project
"Beautiful"
For this project I decided to go with a soft peach and yellow look with a hint of green and what other media to use than the newly launched watercolor confections by Prima.  They are rich and so easy to work with.   I used these on a simple cardstock not even a watercolor one !
 Have a look at how the background turned out.

A few close ups-

 I covered the brick wall panel in white heavy gesso and when it was dry I highlighted it with  Prima oil pastels. Did the same to the wood veneer leaves.
I also dabbed some color on my flowers to match them better with the background colors and make them pop out.

 I made this one as my last minute entry to the Prima BAP for the month of January. 

I went ahead and tried my newest buy ..the Water soluble Oil Pastels from Prima. 

Just love these soft creamy and rich colours. Wonderful!

Hope you all are doing great!
This year so far has been really busy for me and  my life has changed considerably over the past six months...for good :)

I got married to my best friend .. shifted places .. started workshops and teaching...joined DT of some absolutely amazing paper craft companies.. :) :)

All in all it has been an eventful year so far but really hectic!
I took out some time to craft for myself a few days ago and made 2 layout.. for PRIMA . This is a page I made for my hubby with colors from June Prima PPP.
