I have something very different to share with you all today. Its my first try at an acrylic painting. I loved the process I must say. Prima released the new heavy body acrylic paint this season called the Impasto paints. I tried my hands on a palette knife painting here.

Some close ups-

I used Prima Marketing Bayou Flora stamp and stamped the flower image with Versamark on vellum. I heat embossed it in white and added it the the cluster.

I also used the Melange Art pebbles and Art Stones from Prima Marketing.

Look at those gorgeous Hollybrook flowers. Aren't they the cutest??? I loveee them !

I have used lots of Prima Marketing flowers and media supplies as usual. I also have some Memory hardware beads in there as well. The chipboards are from 2Crafty chippies.

The moodboard this month is just amazing with all those lovely Prima products and textures. These were what inspired me the most and the gorgeous colors.. I loved them! I wanted to make something soft and pretty the moment I saw the the moodboard. I absolutely love the Wood Alphas on my layouts and canvases. They stand out perfectly!

How absolutely adorable is that  Intricate Sea horse chippie! I totally love it. I think it looks amazing!

 The Handrawn heart and Whispy Dandelions chippies have been covered in white gesso and while it was still wet to touch I sprinkled some sparkling powder on top of it. Once dry, I sprayed the centers with mist.

I covered the title chippie in white gesso . I like the look of this line word in white running all across my page.

'A Moment to Treasure' - Mixed media layout for 2Crafty chipboard

Hello friends!

I have a page to share with you all today. I made it the last month for 2Crafty chipboard using their gorgeous chippies... and I love how this one turned out. 

I love this pic of me and my husband and he is just not into flowers and butterflies so I decided to make this really grungy , masculine page.  I think it turned out well.

I had so much fun making this grungy page with loads of mixed media techniques.
I absolutely... absolutely love the way the chippies helped me tie up the whole page.
It was way easier than it looks. Believe me!.
