Hi Friends! Hope you all are doing fine! I created a layout a few days back but kept on added things to it every day. Finally I am here to share to it with you all. This is my second ever try on a layout so I really hope you all like it..
Here are the pictures...
Few close ups..
This Layout has been inspired by the spring colours. Limes and greens and red....the paper in black you see on the backside has also been painted..
the paintbrush inspired me to go ahead with using lots of paints..I used acrylic and watercolour paints. The paintbrushes got spoiled so I used them as embellies here! I will definitely remember to clean them now ...:P
All the credit for this goes a very talented scrap booker Keren Tamir from Expressing from my heart and soul. She is the one who inspired me and guided me.. Thanks a ton Keren for your inspiration!
Submitting it to the following challenges:
Lulupu- second birthday special challenge-
I used-
L- layers, leaves, Lindy's starburst sprays
P- pollens, paints, paintbrushes, pearls.
T- texture paste,
C- crafters workshop stencils
Scrap around the world- March mood board-
I got inspired by the paint brush and went ahead to create this layout using paints. Also added the paint brush tips I ruined while making it. :)
kraftzone- #3- celebrate spring with mixed media- I used lime green, green and red in the spring colour palette ..with lots of blooms along with paints ,gesso and texture paste

THE LAYOUT. Added lots of torn papers and laces and doily..the background paper in back is painted one .. YES!! This layout is a PAINTER'S MESS!! |
added buttons with the glitter balls and silicon balls from my handbag ;P Have a look at the peeping doily on the torn edge.. |
The ruined paint brushes!! the leaves are actually the daisy flower . I tore its petals to make leaves ..the velvet fabric flower and the red roses are handmade . |
added crackle paint to the title |

ReplyDeleteHello there Jaya - just doing a little catching up! I love this creation, and as usual have been checking out what you have found to put on here. I've said before that you amaze me with the bits and pieces you find and now I see you have used little silicone balls from your handbag - I know exactly what you mean and have often wondered if I could use them in my crafting!!!!! Wonderful idea Jaya! I adore this work of art.
