'A Moment to Treasure' - Mixed media layout for 2Crafty chipboard

Hello friends!

I have a page to share with you all today. I made it the last month for 2Crafty chipboard using their gorgeous chippies... and I love how this one turned out.

I love this pic of me and my husband and he is just not into flowers and butterflies so I decided to make this really grungy , masculine page.  I think it turned out well.
Have a look

Some close up pics-

I had so much fun making this grungy page with loads of mixed media techniques.
I absolutely... absolutely love the way the chippies helped me tie up the whole page.
It was way easier than it looks. Believe me!.

For more details on the chippies used please visit the 2Crafty chipboard blog HERE

Have a great day!

'ADVENTURE'- Masculine Mixed media layout for 2Crafty chipboard

Hello again!
So here is my second page. A masculine layout. Yeah..Once in a while I like to make masculine pages to give myself a break from the usual pages I do.
I love this picture of my hubby and so I decided to scrap it here. :)

 Some close ups-

I chose the "Adventure" loopy font title for my page and covered it in black gesso.
I applied some gesso on the Interlocking grid Panel chippie and once it was dry I
 coloured it using watercolours.
I cut it into several pieces and arranged around my composition..

Hope you like it.
Have a great day!

'Memories'- Mixed Media Layout with VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hello friends!

Hope you all are doing good. I have a layout to share with you all that I created for my DT work for 2Crafty chipboard.
I made this using the 7Dots Studio "Destination Unknown" collection combined with some fabulous chippies from 2Crafty.
Have a look

Some close ups-

Have a look at this awesome 'Corner steampunk' chippie. It is perfect for all your
grungy or masculine pages.  I think it went really well with the steam train picture.
I have some memories from my childhood when I travelled a couple of times in trains
and so I really wanted to scrap this picture.
This chippie has first been given a coat of gesso and later coloured with alcohol inks, sprays and oil pastels. Then I went ahead and stamped on it randomly and outlined a few margins using black pen.

I used the swirl chippie to give some movement to my page. I covered it with gesso first
and sprayed on it. Later I highlighted a few areas with oil pastels in a few areas.

The frame and Memories title chippie have been covered in black texture spray.

"Amaze Yourself"- Mixed media layout

Hello friends!
Hope you all are having a great day!
I wanted to make something depicting nature in the raw form.
So I decided to create something that was  highly textured using just  the shades
of greens and greys.

The wonderful chippies from 2Crafty made this possible. I just love those gorgeous
Anchors and Shrub chippies. Aren't they the most gorgeous and intricate pieces
to add to your beach/sea theme pages?
Have a look at the page-

"Amaze Yourself"

Some close-ups-

I wanted to keep raw look of the chippies but at the same time add some colour and shine.
So I coloured my chipboard pieces with some brown watercolour pastels and once it was
dry I added some liquid gold sparkle sparingly to them. Have a look.

I also did some doodling on my anchor chippie to make the lines stand out after
colouring. The shrubs and leaves were first embossed with dark green and teal embossing
powders and later I added a hint of yellow at places. It gave them the perfect natural
 look I was aiming for.
